Thermoelectric Generation — how it works

The TEG system converts temperature differences into electricity using the Seebeck effect — no turbines, no combustion engines, no moving parts. The result is silent, continuous, maintenance-minimal baseload power that operates independently of weather conditions.

1

H₂ + LPG Burner — Hot Side

Hydrogen or LPG creates the heat source. Hydrogen combustion produces only water vapour; zero CO₂ at point of use. LPG serves as the transition-period fallback fuel.

2

Industrial Chiller — Cold Side

A chiller maintains the cold side of the TEG stack at 0°C to −15°C. The temperature differential (ΔT) across the stack is the primary driver of electricity generation.

3

TEG Stack — Seebeck Conversion

Solid-state thermoelectric cells convert ΔT directly to DC electricity. Zero moving parts. Zero combustion. Phacharasin cell range: 200–500°C operating temperature.

4

DC → AC Inverter — Grid Output

DC converted to AC at 10 kW per module. Modular stacking: 10 units = 100 kW; 50 units = 500 kW. AI system optimises dispatch and load balancing in real time.

Circular BESS — regenerated, not new

Battery Regeneration Systems restore end-of-life batteries to ≥80% SoH at 40–60% below new battery cost — creating a structural cost advantage that compounds at scale, while diverting tonnes of battery waste from landfill each year.

BGG's BESS strategy sources degraded batteries from Thailand's largest utility and telecom operators, regenerates them, and deploys them as grid-scale storage — circular economy that is both cost-efficient and environmentally superior to new battery procurement.
